These stats highlight Zion's impact on the court, especially his scoring ability and efficiency inside the paint. Do you think he's living up to expectations this season?

Definitely not this years - the Pelicans would drive Zion to the airport yesterday if this was on the table.
Most they can have is our 2nd round pick. I'm not even sure I will offer the Pacer's 2026. There are rumors Zion may be waived (though I don't believe that; Pelicans can get some assets off Zion, though not a lot).

This would be a push/no due to injuries. Outside top 5 then yes.
Zion at his best is better than anyone on this team with a much higher ceiling. he has not been good this season but he barely played.

No way. Players like Zion will hamstring a franchise. It's equivalent to having the Clipper's version of Kawhi without the proven championships

Depends on what info RJ can provide but the most I’d offer even if he provides a great review on Zion is Jak, Chris, Indy 2026 for Zion. This trade would be the final nail in the season as I’d keep Zion out until near the end of the season.

That sounds reasonable to me. People have to not be so stingy when it comes to stars becoming available, this is not a destination franchise.

if we were to make an offer, we keep the indy pick and only offer up the portland 2nd rounder. jak is a legit quality nba starting center. he fills a major hole for them.
but in the real world, we don't touch him with a 10 foot pole b/c he will never be healthy and doesn't have the discipline needed. culture destroyer and not a masai player.

I see what you did there lol.
But god no, I wouldn't trade anything in the first round for this guy. It's not worth the risk.

He's not a star, he's a guy who has played 190 of 415 possible games, that's 45%. He's a guy who COULD be a star if he was healthy. That is a massive overpay and risk.
The only positive spin is that if it doesn't work out we are definitely tanking hard. But it's still an absolute waste of assets.

Our poo poo platter of expirings (Boucher, Brown) POR 2nd, and maybe the Indy 2026 pick.
Nothing more than that, and even I'm hesitant on the Indy pick

This is way too rich of an offer for Zion IMO, but it really depends on what the market is. Only reason I would even consider trading for Zion is if he comes dirt cheap and we just need to unload our expirings to help the Pelicans re-sign Ingram. I may toss in a crappy pick if needed. Zion is a real toxic contract right now; way worse than RJ's contract. We will be doing them a favor by giving them expirings for Zion. Zion makes sense for us because we don't need to rush him back. That said, we don't have a good track record of getting our guys to slim down. We tried to take our chances with Sullinger years back and it did not work. I guess we kept Lowry 'relatively' in shape? High risk high reward type of scenario.

Davion, Bruce Brown, Boucher, 2025 2nd pick (Por) and 2027 1st pick (top 4 protected).

No. He's a Bust. Still the same Player when he came into the league. Don't want a Ben Simmons Mentality here.

He is a walking red flag.
Great player but has chronic knee issues.

Zion should have been a generational player.....Mentally he is not in love with basketball as the generational players that came before him....He does not take care of his body which is a clear sign of someone who does not really respect or care for the game as he should...
Id take my chances on just adding a good player from this class than adding a player who prolly won't even wanna be in Toronto for 1 and would prolly be injured 90 percent of the time.

You could get him cheaper than that I think. Seen many players leave one franchise and suddenly turn it around. Never liked him going to New Orleans originally. Neither did he. Massive risk but depends on pricing. I'm not trading '25 pick.

Professional athlete that doesn't do the most important thing expected of him. Hard pass.

The talent is soooo tantalizing I almost would. But everything else OTHER than the god given talent is just a no for me.
He's basically the worst combination of Greg Oden's body and Ben Simmons's motor.
