The NBA is crazy, I don’t think Mike Brown is the problem. The Kings are poorly constructed, but a coach will always be blamed first.

It was a bad omen when they acquired DeRozan. You knew that franchise was heading sideways at best with that move. They should have stuck to a youth movement. Thy were looking good for a while. Trading youth for veteran names when you are nowhere near contending is sacrilegious. It will fall apart now.

Can we open up a opportunity for Mike Brown?

Big mistake by Vivek.
2022–23: 48-34
2023–24: 46-36
2023–24: Just struggling to incorporate DeMar
and he was the head coach of Nigeria's men's national basketball team

and had a young Small Forward in LeBron for all those years as his primary ball handler and winning

Would be sweet if we could hire him next summer but I doubt he's available.

Should have rolled the dice on Siakam who is a much better fit than Demar. Murray could have continued to suck here lol.

This also means that Jay Triano will likely be coaching the team now...

Kings fanbase knows Fox is at fault, they want him traded.
Mike Brown just got scapegoated.

Not with this FO and team in disarray. This team is maybe a step better than the wiz as far as future outlook. If we get Flagg things might change but this isn't an attractive place for veteran coaches.

It Fox's fault that Keegan Murray can't shoot anymore? Did Keegan peak at age 22? It's rare but it's happened.
They do need to trade Fox though.
Fox and Derozan to the Lakers for DLo, Knecht, Vanderbilt, Gabe Vincent and 1st picks.
PG Fox - Reaves
SG Reaves - Derozan - Christie
SF Lebron - Derozan
PF Hachimura - Lebron
C AD - Hayes

If I am not mistaken, his extension hasn't even kicked in yet.

We’ll need to do something on the assistant coach front this summer. Can’t have Pat Delaney as your top assistant ffs.

Is this an attempt to keep Fox or a signal that they're blowing it up?

They don’t play Ellis enough so they could try that. Also we have seen Huerter completely flatline and Keegan regress under Brown so it is worth a shot to see if a new coach can get them back to playing well. Also, are we sure that Brown didn’t give input into the decision to add Demar. Front offices and coaches work together on roster decisions. Either way, to me, they can let the season play out and see if a new coach can turn things around a bit. In the off-season, they can make the decision whether to rebuild for another 20 years.

Kings should have traded for Siakam. That Pacers offer was not hard to beat.

It’s to turn their record around, which I doubt will happen.
