It is no secret to anyone that Bruce Brown and Kelly Olynyk are being shopped by the Raptors. At the same time, it's also no secret that the Wizards are open to hearing all offers for Kyle Kuzma, Jordan Poole, Jonas Valanciunas, and Malcolm Brogdon. Washington has generated a lot of trade rumors in recent weeks about Kuzma and Valanciunas, two players expected to be moved before the trade deadline.

2 days ago Jake Fischer said Boucher was available.

Our trade assets are so in demand that we will have to attach picks to move them. No one who is selling is selling quality. I think we need to trade some bigger names and attach trash.

If the Raptors young core is:
IQ
RJ
Scottie
Dick
Ja’Kobe
Agbaji
Mogbo
Shead
Battle
Comche

The only tradable player remaining with any trade value is Poeltl.

The only way you get any type of asset for Brown, Boucher, Davion is if you take back bad money that goes beyond this season

KO making like 12 million per year for this year and next. He represents no significant hit to the cap. We don't have a guy that spaces the floor at the 5 like he does. What's the hurry to move him?

The NBA is now basically a bunch of star players >25M, and a bunch of role players <8M.

This season, the teams that are interested in a trade don’t have a spare $23M to send out, and Brown isnt worth much more than a 2nd round pick (or 2).

Lots of really bad players making 6-8 million a year plus we have a 12.8 million trade exception we can use to facilitate a deal. If teams want him they can make it work quite easily.

Bruh Bruce Brown hasn’t played all year lol. His value is an expiring contract and we’d have to take on salary which I’m not opposed to if assets are coming back.

We need a good big man and that will cost us Agbaji or another decent piece. The poopoo platter of Brown and Olynyk isn't getting us anything worth discussing.

Not that I thought they’d be closed to the idea of trading Olynk but I am a little surprised that they’re actively doing so. I have no complaints about it.

Even though I think he’s a solid enough backup when fully healthy, I understand he’s getting old too and obviously when you see how the FO was able to connect with Shead, Mogbo…previously Norm, Fred, that those 2nds could turn into even more valuable (long term) rotation pieces so it makes sense. My surprise is only based on the fact they so proudly advertised him as a Canadian player that loved the franchise growing up but obviously we all understand it’s a business, just saying, news surprised me a lil bit but hopefully they can get each guy to more competitive teams and we can turn whatever we get in return into some solid pieces in the future.
