I have seen enough!

We are almost at all star break and trade deadline around the corner, so I can make some evaluations about the players and direction of the team.
trades or players who are not part of the future
IQ he has been injured but I already seen enough from him. there is nothing he does that cant be filled by davion, shead, or walter. at this stage of our rebuild, I would rather a three headed monster at point IQ is not elite at anything.
RJ barrett I listen to one of the podcast today and I heard someone stay the RJ/barnes relationship coexist together it is not symbiotic. RJ offense where he wiggles to the rim is good but it can be shut down easily. if we keep him he is a 6 man with that horrendous defense.
bruce brown is a trade I would rather see battle play.
its time to get something for chris
now lets talk about line ups. ect ect.
barnes, gradey, battle need more playing time together barnes needs to develop the ability to score in a phone booth. we have shooters to space the court.
I want to see the offense run through gradey that is what a shooting guards job is. more screens off ball play please.
We need a athletic, rim running, defensive anchor at center!!! how many years in a row do I have to say this?

Everyone should be available for the right price, that should include Barnes

I highly doubt there's a trade that includes Scottie that would make much sense and while he likely won't be a superstar I still think he could quite easily be a part of a legit core.

lol right? If we trade Barnes then we’re officially a joke of a franchise.

Lol, crazy huh. Tf is going on here, who expected this team to do anything this year? There was always gonna be disaster stretches, relax and hope masai could work some of his magic and that the lotto balls fall kindly.

IQ is better than Davion and Shead, combined. JaKobe isn't a PG.

RJ sucks, but we're not trying to win, so who cares.

No team wants him.

Unless Jokic or Giannis demanded out tomorrow, there is no trade involving Barnes that would make sense for this team. I'm not even sure trading for those guys at this point makes sense (we'd still need to put a winning team around them, and we'd have no assets to do that with). I'd rather keep on chugging along with the rebuild.

Dude
This is going to go down as a legendary rank.
We’re losing with a loaded roster and simultaneously developing over a half dozen prospects (more than 3 is damn near impossible).
We’re creating an environment for our defence first prospects can shine and develop in an offense first scheme.
Rj and Scottie and Jakob aren’t good enough to be closers but are ideal/perfectly suited for everything up until the big basket.
Snead mogbo Scottie ochai were all considered high end defensive prospects with suspect offence.
This line up is primed to develop quickly as our closer or even use him as a centrepiece for a star!
Think about it!
Top 8 pick
Quick
Rj
Scottie
Jakob
Dick
Ochai
Snead
Mogbo
Plus a bunch of other guys and picks.
I’m jaw dropped by how successful this tank has been.
Were defence first and gave up 150. Ya, but we scored 136 without quick Jakob brown etc….
Next year we’ll get a defence first assistant.
The defensive foundation is already here. It was building these guys into two way players with winning habits.
Seriously. This is flipping amazing!
Better than my wildest dreams!!!!
Not joking, this is a rebuild for the ages!

Right! We've had every iteration and the lineups always suck without IQ. When IQ is getting triple doubles and running things, Barnes and RJ should have less responsibilities dribbling and more scoring so less turnovers.
Shead is doing just fine and we have enough wings, need more beef. Bye Davion.
Jakobe just looks like more of a keeper, I wouldn't mind trading Ochai and Davion for a bigger player to take Boucher's spot in the rotation. Or trade a combination of the 3?
Ochai, Davion, Boucher, Olynyk, Bruce Brown should be moved. If Brown is willing to come back for the MLE, I'm cool with that.

Winning in the NBA is hard. It's not easy nor is development linear. There are going to be highs and lows before we get back to being a consistent winning team.

The only Barnes trade that makes sense is the one Utah is trying to do with Lauri. Trading him for a boatload of future unprotected picks. That means an even longer tanking road. I'm pretty confident that it's the one road Masai and the franchis has zero interest in going down.
