We need to get involved as a third team. Dump off some guys so Jakobe and Mogbo can get their minutes.

I take it you didn't see his exit from the TWolves.

Re: Shams: Jimmy Butler requests trade out of Miami

Fair trade IMO.
Kings do it because:
- Get Huerter off the books
- Keegan is a near negative asset at this point
- Go all in w/ Fox|DeRozan|Butler|Sabonis (all signed thru 2026)
Heat do it because:
- Recoup most of the production lost by trading away Butler by adding several wing players
- Murray is in dire need of a change of scenery
- Monk can be streaky but still averages 16ppg (56% TS)
Raps do it because:
- Obtain a first round pick for Brown which could be quite valuable w/ Butler and Fox set to be free agents after the 2026 season

I want Keegan on our team.

I don't think even the kings would be this stupid. Jimmy doesn't have this kind of value and they would have no depth after this too. Take Keegan, Johnson out of it and give us the expiring of Trey Lyles. That means we are taking on more salary and saving the Heat tax dollars at least.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

I wonder how much of a haul the Heat can get. Butler is a great player but has been on the decline and will be 36 years old.

Pretty sure he has always been a high maintenance drama queen.

From strictly money perspective this works
Warriors: jimmy
Heat: wiggins, GPII, Anderson, podz

Can send Marcus Smart, Brandon Clarke, Luke Kennard and 1st pick for Butler and Love.

Hopefully we can get involved as a 3rd team to facilitate a deal and come out with assets

Yeah he's always been this way since the end of his Bulls run. One of the first guys to understand the superstar empowerment era after LeBron paved the way. Did it before he even proved he was at that level in the playoffs.
