we get to see the modern day Detroit Pistons put a whooping on us so bad we'll fall back below 2 teams.

The largest nba fanbase on this website and one of the largest sports fanbases on the internet and a game thread can't be made 3 hours before a big home game against the defending nba champions. What is going on with Canadian sports fans? Where is the passion and enthusiasm for the one and only international NBA team?

lol the last time we played the Celtics, we lost by 54 points. You excuse fans for not being interested in a Raptors/Celtics matchup.

How will we respond to getting absolutely stomped last time against the Celtics? Celtics got everyone back. Celtics have been up and down since playing us but the ‘get right guys’ are likely here to save the day. I think another thrashing is more likely than not. Marc Davis is the ref and he tends to let things go too and the Celtics physical defending on the perimeter should lead to a ton of turnovers. Also we’ e shot well from 3 for 4 straight games so we’re kind of due for a bad shooting game from 3.

Would be fun to see Shead get his first start.

My 13-year old son's best friend is from Boston. He said to my son today "Payton Pritchard is better than anyone on the Raptors". I like the kid, but I kind of want a win here just to shut the smug little bastard up.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if Darko starts someone else instead of Davion today. Probably either Shead, Ochai, or Bruce.

Celts have been a bit cold with their shooting lately but even if their stars struggle we all know Pritchard and Hauser will go off regardless lol.

It's hard to drum up interest in a tank/rebuild season. It's here and there, but it's far less interesting than when we're winning, that should be fairly obvious...

I have very little hope for this game. Going to tune in late so I can fastforward if it gets ugly.

Boston must be paying Pritchard under the table or something. His contract at 4 year 30M is asine. He could easily be making double that.

Daily reminder that Dick has no business starting over Ochai. Very close to stop giving a F lol.

I don't see him being a successful starter in the NBA. His defense is weak, if he gains weight he'll become even slower, and worst of all he can't shoot lol. He's the worst shooting specialist I've seen on the Raptors.
