My brother-in-law and I were at the game tonight and were inspired.
Anyone attending games, or even just hanging out around Bremner, knows if you wander through the area, it tends to have a very "distinct fragrance" to it much of the time.
Whether dubbed "Jurassic Park" for Raptor games or "Maple Leaf Square" for Leafs games, we believe there is a better naming opportunity.
Section 420The section for the fans who don't have tickets.
While we certainly never expect this to be adopted or promoted by MLSE, the opportunity exists to make this the unofficial name. The fans' name. You have the power.

Jurassic Park is a shadow of itself. That first one during the Brooklyn series, that place was hype.

It is known as jurassic park worldwide. Everyone in the states knows what it's called. Can't change that.

I was there both times. Both amazing experiences with different kinda vibes.
The F Brooklyn series (I was there when Masai yelled F Brooklyn) was amazing because it was the first time we ever had that energy. Nothing can replace that kind time memory.
The championship run was a much bigger crowd. Felt like the whole city / country was behind the team. BDE. Unforgettable vibes too.
I was there during the parade too, and got to take a pic with Masai and Bobby. THAT was definitely an unforgettable experience. I got heat stroke from standing in the sun for so long that day.

Okay that was funny.
Also, I used to dislike Leo compared to say Jack, but now that we have much better representation on TV and I’ve learned a smidge about how good a human he is IRL, not just as a commentator - I’ve grown to appreciate him considerably more. He’s been a Canada basketball Stan forever and his predictability and consistency is enjoyable. I’d really like to see a 3 man crew with Matt, Leo and someone with a more stats forward demeanour who can also explain plays. Where the ladies at??

That parade was an amazing experience. Stood for hours in front of a coffee shop wedged in between people but when they finally rolled past in those busses, it was all worth it.

Honestly not a fan of people smoking weed in public gathering places. Kids go to those JP, and don't need to be getting second hand. Designated smoking areas should be a thing. I know potheads typically dgaf, but like, at least have some respect man, not everyone needs to be second handedly exposed to your drug of choice. I think it's great that it's legalized now, but, I think we need some sort of bylaw on this - sort of like how you're not allowed to smoke cigarettes indoors, or near the entrance of buildings etc.

Good luck getting high of someone joint in public

If enough people are smoking in the area over a 2.5 hour game, it's not entirely impossible my man, esp on a windless day.
Also, why should I be forced to have to endure it either way? If you want to put certain substances in your body, fine by me. But the world shouldn't have to share it with you. Markham made it illegal to smoke in public. Toronto is illegal within 9m of a public building, and 9 metre perimeter around restaurant or bar patios, 20 metre perimeter around school property, 20 metre perimeter around children’s playgrounds and publicly owned sporting areas, and 20 metre perimeter around community recreational facility grounds. I know it's basically never enforced anyway, but just sayin that Jurassic Park feels like it should fall somewhere in there.
