Wow. That might be the best episode I have ever seen. Super nostalgic. Great times.

The timing of that was obviously very intentional.

Funny that we are on a winning streak right now & they are talking about the pivotal Rudy Gay trade.

They were also talking about Kyle & Demar being two different personalities. Kyle being more emotional & Demar being more laid back.

Scottie is kinda like the new Kyle & RJ is kinda like the new Derozan.

I liked the end.

Both said they wanted to sign a 1 day contract here when they retire and officially retire as Raptors.

They led the greatest era in Raptors history - was amazing to watch a 50+ win team just be expected to win night in and night out. It was more shocking when they did lose. They did this for like 5 straight years.

Haha, yeah timing is interesting for sure. We were all set to tank that year and rest is history. Same with this year it seems but what a disgusting hole they’ve already dug themselves.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

That team that turned it around after the Gay trade was magical. One of my favourite times as a Raptors fan.

I think that 1/2 season after the R Gay trade was my favorite stretch as a Raptors fan.

Felt so good seeing them turn things around & sustain. The reality is,. It was trade that turned the whole franchise around.

44-22 post Rudy Gay (55 win pace)

Derozan was our 24 year old star who averaged 23/5/5 post trade who made his first allstar game

Lowry turned into a menace and averaged 19/5/8

I still remember thinking how that run was the best thing that ever happened. The Lowry/Demar/Kawhi era was so much fun.

That trade was definetly underrated. Vasquez and Patterson where valuable bench pieces, while Hayes and Salmons where very reliable veteran presence.

Yeah Demar is also going to get his number retired as well once that time comes. They’ve already planted that seed.

Shoulda beat the Nets. Casey belatedly put Landry Fields on Joe Johnson to finally slow him down, before P-Patt's mistake off a rebound in Game 6 effectively ended Fields' basketball career. Then in Game 7, the league was clearly determined to push the Nets into the next round. Amir (my fave) got us back in the game while clearly injured before he fouled out. He was never the same player after that.
