Here's my morning 2K trade idea based on some rumours.
I wouldn't mind Mathurin as our 6th man if RJ is going to be shipped out next year. Lakers had some interest in Myles Turner, maybe they won't give up a 2029 unprotected / lightly protected FRP for Poeltl but will for Turner? Hard to say since Turner is an expiring, but he may be willing to re-sign in LA.
Raps get:
Rui - don't really want him, just filler
Mathurin
Koloko
2025 LA SRP - push for another LA FRP but may just get this
2029 unprotected/lightly protected LA FRP
Indy gets:
Poeltl - buddies with Siakam
Christian Wood - filler
Cam Reddish - filler
2025 POR SRP - not sure if this is necessary
LA gets:
Myles Turner

Raps only one winning.
Indy woul just replace Turner with Poeltl, and the SRP from Port is nice but nothing to boast about. Wood and Reddish are just baggage that indy doesnt need.
Lakers give up so much, they could go for Turner or Poeltl directly without a 3rd team.
And the raps are getting one young prospect that already has made a mark, 1 first and a second. Rui isnt a terrible player.
Neither indy or lakers should make this trade.

Back in September, a friend of mine suggested we have the hardest opening schedule and hardest closing schedule this season in the entire league (basically).
This is coupled with the easiest schedule leading up to the trade deadline.
His suggestion was that the tank is real and the entire season is being managed around the 10 - 15 games leading up to the deadline.
In that case; wiggins and futures for some combo of brown Boucher and acbaji could make sense.
Wiggins seems like a wonderful mentor and team first player.
….consolidate acbaji and brown into wiggins and milk them for future firsts and another acbaji type that’s two years into his rookie scale contract.
2 years of wiggins being tasked with corner threes, point of attack defence and NOTHING ELSE; should work. He’s just as good at those two things as og. And unlike og; he only wants to do those two things. Lol

That's a lie! Only play 2 teams w a winning record in our last 20. Suns and warriors(who we beat) and they're barley above .500

I think we will be favored in 18 of the last 20 games. All the teams we play will be in full tank mode

Ah tnx for clarifying guy.
Anyways, I’m still sold on wiggins as an elite 3 and d point of attack defender. He’s only 28. Elite d is understated and at a premium.
Wiggins Scottie Jakob could be an elite defensive front court and the perfect environment to nurture quickly as development.
Also turning one acbaji lottery ticket into 2.5 acbaji lottery tickets seems like a Masai thing to do.
Consolidate brown / acbaji into wiggins - who’s still eliteat his defined role.
Open up minutes with a similar role for mogbo.
We’re the same team or better and we get some futures out of it.
Brown - acbaji - mogbo are 3 very similar players.
Wiggins is better than all of them and underrated as heck at this point.
He’d be og 2.0 here

I could see Nurkic and cash for Nance Jr and Cody Zeller. Maybe Phoenix can trade Nance Jr for PJ Tucker and 2nd pick?

Capela for nurkic makes sense
Phoenix is stupid.
They need toughness and grit.
Grayson Beal booker kd capela
Veteran tough bench
That’s a top 5 team in the league

"The big man, who has been a defensive anchor for New York for several seasons, underwent foot surgery in May and has yet to play in a game this season. Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau said this week that Robinson is not practicing with the team and just began running and jumping.”

Ooooh Nurkic for Bogdanovic! That makes sense as Vit Krejci has emereged as the starting SG.
I guess Atlanta would then trade Capela.

I would offer Olynyk for Mitchell Robinson.
