Had seasons tickets then. 10th row front. Games were 'electrifying' in ACC, THANKS TO Vince. Everyone wanted to see him play, in All NBA stadiums... it was Showtime with Vince and Tmac... Together with Kobe, the best athletes in the NBA then, and for a decade ... But Vince was the show.
Vince was the number one vote getter for the Allstar game that year, and repeated again the following year.

I was 9 years old. This dunk contest solidified Vince as my favorite player in the league and ultimately led to me becoming a lifelong American Raptors fan. Can't believe this was 25 years ago.

This was the first contest I watched. And I really thought that all dunk contests were going to be like this going forward. I've only been more wrong about something once in my life.

Still remember being in awe watching this live back then. All that hype going in and VC exceeded it. Plus it was a great all-around comp with Tmac and Francis lighting it up too.
