All I see developing is "it's my turn, no it's your turn, offense". They are all easily stoppable, and none of them are great creators. Against quality defenses we are going to struggle. Robinson and Mogbo is enough of a disadvantage for us to lose a lot of games to help the ethical tank. We are fielding units with 3 non scorers with guys who can't create opportunities for their teammates. It should get us a top 10 pick, hopefully.

In hindsight it appears Masai envisioned slow mo as a poor man Kelly olynyk.

Aka a half court babysitter.

Not as good as Kelly. Perfect combination of mentor and tank commander

Bad loss, could have gain a game on all the others. But yeah no Poeltl no win. People hate to admit it, but he is our second best player (i dont count BI yet) and the most important.

Please play the bench more - the future depends on it.

Scottie played bad and we still almost won. Damn bro we have to start sitting guys if we wanna keep our top 5 pick.

Miami is fully healthy and barely beat us while missing Poeltl/Ingram. These are important reps for development while not losing sight of the bigger tanking picture.

Good
- RJ is hard to stop as the 3rd option with single coverage
- IQs aggressiveness and hitting 3s at a good clip, which this team needs badly.
- Scottie defensive presence
- Dick mixing it up to grab 10 rebounds. Need to see this level of effort consistently even if the execution is off defensively and hitting shots
- Ja'kobe hitting 2 3s

Bad
- Scottie trying to be a 1st option
- IQs finishing ability when going all the way to the rim
- Dick's inability to hit 3s and blowing defensive coverages consistently
- Boucher losing his 3 point powers after the deadline

And Darko is playing the rookies a lot.

We need to bring in PJ Tucker and let him play 30 minutes a game.

If Scottie plays well against these middling teams it's ggs... he's doing his duty. I find hilarious that people both want to lose badly AND have everyone play well.

Boucher will be gone in a few months anyway. I think the reason he was not traded at the deadline was because Bobby could not find a team that would give up an expiring contract and a 2nd. The Raptors need the Brown jr./Kelly/Boucher money to be off the books to afford BI.

The thing is that players are not actively tanking so his poor performance has nothing to do with that. We aren't in our current position because Scottie and other players have been playing great lol.

This is just fans coping and hoping to add an impactful young player in the draft to help dramatically improve this team because status quo isn't good enough.

So you think these guys are giving their all down there fighting tooth and nail for every point. In a tanking season.

Right.

Totally agree... I'm sure we could have gotten a 2nd rounder but would have had to take on salary past the upcoming season. There's a good chance that teams only see Boucher as a 5M or minimum type of player and could be back.

Teams are really penny pinching for bench players... Beasley and Trent struggled to get anything this past offseason and they're easily more sought after players.

Please use some common sense. Do you think a player gives a rats ass about the organization wanting to tank when no one knows what team they'll be on next season? This is the NBA we're talking about where player movement is the norm.

Players are always auditioning for their next contract and in Scottie's case, he can earn the supermax if he makes an All NBA team... that's about 50M extra in his pocket.

Trust your eyes, go rewatch the last 10 seasons in Charlotte. People are playing for stats, taking awful shots, not giving a damn. That's tanking. If you'd like to think that this guys are playing hard to win... well, we live in a free world but I'm not going to pursue that conversation any further.

If our future is depending on shead/mogo/jakobe, then we are pretty rough spot…

Being a crappy/incompetent organization is different than tanking. I'm also happy not to pursue this conversation any further as it doesnt seem like you know the difference lol.

Yeah that was dumb. Orlando Robinson made a pretty big difference on defence and then Darko just randomly subs in Mogbo.

Shead's bad game frequency has declined. Walter and Mogbo are better defensively than people realize.
