Want to see Mogbo get more 3 pt shot attempts. We need to know what he's capable of moving forward instead of just wondering

I want to see Darko keep making bad calls to help the tank, as I get the feeling that's what management wants him to do. You can't stop the players from playing hard for their next contracts, but you can take a pile of bad time outs, bad/early challenge calls, bad substitutions, etc. If we're not careful, we'll leapfrog past the Nets, Philly, and the Spurs.
Keep playing the rookies and resting the vets. Hell, give Temple more burn.

I rather Walter get more minutes and give him and Gradey a chance to be initators. Walter has some creation ability but we've been using him as a 4th to 5th option.
Barrett's game has been limited to avoid mid range shots but again, giving him that freedom to be a 3 level creator should be there now.
Barnes should continue bombing away threes from a standstill position.

over the last 17 games, our drtg is 111.3 which is 8th best in the league during that span. that drtg would rank #9 overall for the entire season.

We should play RJ as the back up PG to see what he has there. The RJ/Dick back court would be weak defensively but if we can see RJ being a decent back up PG it would give us a lot of option next season.
Poeltl / Robinson
Barnes / Mogbo
RJ / Walter
Dick / Agbaji
IQ / RJ / Shead
An 11 man rotation of the above should give us a good idea on who we can rely on as offensive creators and initators. I would also like to see 4/5 pick and rolls between Barnes and the big man we're playing (Poeltl/Mogbo/Robinson). A good 4/5 pick and roll will give us a lot of options against big line ups like the Cavs next season.

Unless Quick is injured, Shead is the backup Pg. Upon injury I am sure RJ can do it though. Perhaps if/when they start sitting people we will see it. Perhaps pair RJ with Walter or Ochai and see how they defend the other team's guards, I agree RJ and Dick as the two guards will not work defensively at the moment.

Thought this was at 8PM for some reason, glad it's earlier.

The big problem with RJ at the 1 is that he ranked 8th percentile when it comes to defense (DLEBRON/DDARKO). He is by all definitions an absolutely sieve on that end which hurts him and makes him a must hide on defense. I would still like to see him in that position to see if he can adjust and become league average there. If not then it's time to bring him off the bench against weaker offensive talent.

Yak is questionable for tonight. Lawson is listed as available. This will be a test.

We're honestly a bit fun to watch again and I look forward to these games.
Hoping the Ls keep piling up, but this has been a great development season. The only guy I'm not all too impressed with is Scottie, as I had higher expectations, but it's still good to see him playing and getting reps in. That's the only way he's gonna get better, and not by sitting out.
Other than that, pretty much everyone else has exceeded expectations and have shown improvement over the course of the season. RJ looks terrific, IQ is coming along nicely, the rooks are making strides, and Ochai has been our MIP.
Can't wait to add Ingram and a top draft prospect next season. We'll be even more fun to watch!

Bulls sinking fast and the 76ers are a joke. I believe the Raptors have two games against the Nets left. They really need to lose both of those as it appears as though the Nets are the best hope of avoiding the play-in.

Anyone else concerned Philly is going to out tank us while playing all of their starters?

A lot has to go right (or wrong) for us to be able to fight our way to a play-in spot at this point. We do have a lot of easier games coming up in March, but the next 10 days are tough (vs PHX, vs BOS, @ IND, @ CHI, @ ORL, @ ORL) which will likely result in a 1-5 or 2-4 record at best. We'll likely have 18 or 19 wins after 62 games and at that point we'll probably be reaching the "injury maintenance/rest" portion of our schedule where we're missing 2-3 key players each game.
