Orlando Tragic . Nice one.

Seriously though, we gotta get back on track. Rest Poeltl for injury management. Watch them play Ingram instead lol.

Have you read the Tao Te Ching? if not i highly recommend the translation by Ursula K. Le Guin!

There are many parallels between the teachings, including non-attachment as you so eloquently described a few days ago.

I think they bounce back and win this game pretty easily. Magic are such a strange team.

One hand, I totally understand that injuries totally derailed their season and their flow.

On the other hand, Banchero and Wagner have been back for a while. If they're as good as Magic fans say they are... they should be winning more now.

Clear that Suggs matters a lot to this team.

Do we not have any g-league players to call up so we can play them?

Awesome, really rooting for him.

Would like to see him prioritize ball security. We really need our backup PG to avoid bad turnovers if we want to be good.

He was a huge loss for them. I expect Orlando to win this one. [Please!]

The highest rizz praise indeed!

I have not read the Tao Te Ching! I've heard a lot of good things of Ursula K. Le Guin's work, and have been meaning to get into it... now is as good a time as any! So thank you for the recommendation :) I just found a wonderful epub that I'll throw onto my e-reader and begin reading tonight.

Some of y'all really tried to argue that Magic team has a better core smh. We're adding BI and a lotto pick. They're the 5th most expensive team next year and built a whole team that can't shoot the ball.

The funny part is that the same posters wishing we were Orlando, are the exact same ones that would be whining if we were currently in 8th, with no shot at rising higher than 7th. Orlando is not even going to win a game in their series against either Boston or Cleveland.

Can’t go trash to cash in one season…well, extremely rare for that to happen.

I honestly and truly think this team will surprise people next year.

4-5 seed incoming.

Weltman and Masai are good friends and they both tried to build a defence-first roster while ignoring shooting. Masai learnt the hard way last season and now Weltman is learning it now.

Banchero isn't very good right now. He's a pretty weak #1 pick considering his current play. We should be force feeding Barnes and playing the young guys earlier.

The key to tanking is having the youngins play and dig us into a hole and then putting in our actual pieces. This makes them catch up.

There seems to be an issue where Darko doesn't want to piss off our vets or lose the team by tanking too hard. However he did come out and say they are developing.

If we beat Orlando again it'll be interesting. It means they will likely slide down the standings and fall out of the playoffs.

I've talked about this elsewhere, but while he looks fluid and has a good handle which lets him draw fouls at an elite level... he isn't elite inside of 10 feet and he is below average beyond there, so his actual ability to make shots isn't that impressive. And he's weak at the line, too. So he's got a long way to go as a scorer unless something changes dramatically. He can put together a really nice game when his shot is falling, and he has done so over his past 2 games much as he did in his pre-injury games this season, but he isn't shooting much worse than he did in either of his first two seasons, so it's nothing new or terribly injury-related, either.

We'll see if they bounce back. They definitely miss Suggs, and they need Win Streak Wagner from that 13-3 stretch back, not Weak-Sauce Wagner, as he has played both before and since that streak (after returning from injury, he's playing the same he did over the first 9 games).

I do too, although admittedly because I think the East is so trash.

Nobody would put money on Embiid being ready to start next season. PG will be a year older and will care even less.

Cade has taken an impressive leap, but the laws of probability say they don't get another season like this from Tobias, Hardaway Jr,, and Beasley (who will be a UFA anyway).

Another early exit for the Bucks means another summer of Giannis musing if he should leave, which I DO think is going to happen sooner rather than later.

Indiana is fool's gold with that D. Heat, Atlanta, and Magic are all so "meh". No reason to think we cannot be there with some good luck on the health front and improvement from key players. Nailing this draft won't hurt either.

Amazing improvement especially to his 3 point shot. Has to get credit for that. It’s amazing how one can improve their shooting so quickly mid season and yet others apparently are working on them all offseason and never get better.

Weltman is way too conservative though I don't know how much of it is ownership driven. Masai and Bobby are actually one of the most active FOs of the last decade in terms of trades. I don't know why Weltman is seemingly allergic to making moves.
