Management had one job, why mandate is not being enforced?

When we consider management builds this team for a living and goes over these scenarios over and over, Masai spoke of rebuild a few times this season, team isnt talented enough...

It's been clear this was to be a losing season, or needed to be.

More reasons this mandate should've been even more critical:

- We traded away a top 8 pick last season which resulted in a lost yr without adding a top draft prospect already.

- Our core healthy is to good to be worse then a play-in team.

- This would be last season/last chance to add a top pick prospect to this core.

-2025 is a strong and deep draft class.

- This core's potential isn't much better/if at all then the mediocre Siakam/FVV/OG core that we just blew up MINUS adding another impactful foundational piece.

- Big contracts on players kick in, extensions coming : Ingram/Barnes/Quickley/ RJ? / Dick?

- The Ingram trade actually reinforced the "lock in to mediocrity" without another foundation piece/ top pick from the 2025 draft.

This is basically the plan and everyone knows it..

Having this occur is mandatory to becoming an actual contender or we likely seal this teams fate towards treadmill for years again..

thats the situation that's been created

(unlike teams like Utah, Wsh, etc. who aren't boxed into this urgency revolving the 2025 draft)

Egknowledging this reality, how exactly isn't there more being done to enforce this?

Are Bobby and Masai dillusional about how badly winning these meaningless games in March could end up impacting the future?
