I don’t understand why Boucher didn’t play.

He doesn't even stand out with the 905 players on the court around him it's scary

Re: PG: Raptors refuel the tank
lol lol so y'all want our players to perform at their best while everyone & their momma's know we are tanking. Expecting maximum effort while we are actively looking for minimal results makes no sense.

Saw Scottie play in person yesterday in Portland, from about 8 rows up. He was on another level than anyone else on the court - his size and speed were a couple of tiers above any other player. He looked special.

Bad games for players of all caliber happen
The entire team stunk frankly, and while you can criticize him for his frustration, it's understandable since....well Scottie's not stupid and neither are the other players. They know what's going on and tanking is obviously going to piss him off as a vote of no-confidence.
Doesn't help the season is more or less over and i'm sure playing through injury to qualify for All-NBA isn't helping his state of mind either.

This isn’t a one off game, generally he has not look good all year relative to expectation. Tanking is not an excuse for a poor performance year and the criticism is valid. If he doesn’t improve next year, he is very far from earning a max contract.

I guess this is what happens when you face a team that's actually trying to win.

Not scary, just what he is. He never was a #1 option and never will be. Building around him is a mistake.
He is a good player though with good defense, but essentially not someone you give the keys to the franchise.

They really need to invest in a backup center for next season because without Jak this team is trash.

Scottie's finishing at the rim is concerning. I'm hoping we hear a report soon that he's been playing through injury or something because he was hitting a lot of those close shots in his rookie year. Could be defensive attention I guess. Only good finishers are Poeltl and RJ on the team. Almost everyone else sucks at finishing. Rookies hopefully improve next year.

I thought he had already implied this & is trying to hit the All NBA threshold?

Re: PG: Raptors refuel the tank
It's wild boucher still gets no playing time. He must have a deal with raptors already, or else Boucher losing value to sign with another team
