Let's see how the full squad with Ingram looks if we're doing a half ass tank with Barnes refusing to sit out and Poeltl playing against the god damn Wizards.

Way to bounce back on a B2B and after losing 4 in a row, showing real grit and mental toughness out there against a team with championship experience.

There's a reason these poverty franchises like bkn Philly Washington has never been to a conference finals in decades or won a championship since the 70s

this forum has become almost as depressing as this season lol.

also, the nba is sad and broken and is just a horrible product now. rough times.
imagine being shead or battle and playing great basketball, but not being able to play because we are trying to lose. horrible for players, horrible for fans, not to mention the relationship between players and fans. horrble for the league.

7th Slot Odds eventual Draft Pick since the current lottery odds were introduced:

2019: 1st
2020: 4th
2021: 4th
2022: 4th
2023: 7th
2024: 9th

Too small sample size, but the odds still should say we picking 7th or 8th.

There is no sample size. The odds are the odds and each lottery is independent of the results of the previous ones.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

If it was the number 1 pick before the year after it would be a lower chance of it being first consecutively. Have you gambled before?

Something needs to be done asap. Teams used to tank the last couple of weeks of the year at most...now teams are tanking for months, if not the entire season. Utah just sitting a healthy Markkanen for months.

Flat odds for every draft pick. ~3% chance to win the lottery regardless if you finish first or last. No more rewarding franchises for being run like garbage and tanking for seasons on end.

Each draft is a discrete event; previous year's lottery has no impact on current year. (Incidentally, I gamble a lot).

Not all. The odds never change based on a previous result. The ping pong balls do not know anything. If you throw a coin and it falls heads 49 times in a row, the 50th time is still 50/50. It is not hugely weighted towards tails.

Don't sweat it. There are plenty more wins left. It was never going to be close for us to finish Bottom 6.
