Look at this low key well done OP. Includes the tweet, the player measurements and links to all the relevant stats.

Strong message from the FO with this move not bringing back Castleton, if you help us win games, we are getting rid of you. Shape up or Ship out!!!

Seems like he’s a sharpshooter and from what I read he doesn’t move his feet that well defensively so that’s hopefully a positive for the tank.

To be fair (to be fair!!)....

Raptors didn't have the ability to sign Castleton unless it was for rest of season. Two 10-days and your time is up.

Castleton isn't very good it was pretty crazy he was getting so many minutes. Did you guys think he looked good?!

This guy looks solid. If he can keep up those percentages he's a surefire playa

I thought he was underwhelming. I like ORob more.

They signed orob for rest of season I think he is ahead for the raptors but orob likely gets an unguaranteed 1 yr min. Like Bruno and castleton gets exhibit 10 and whoever makes it through camp gets the unguaranteed for the season and the other goes to 905.

He has been on the NBA fringe for a while. I don't like it since these types will try hard and contribute to winning. We already hit on Lawson and Rhoden, how many wings do we need?

21 PPG and shooting 44% on 10 3PA per game in the g-league.

Let's see if he can amount to anything.

He must be atrocious defensively. To be that good of a shooter and not be in the NBA is impressive
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Castleton was so stiff when he ran.

I think Swider has a pretty good track record of being a solid shooter. It's more a matter of whether he can do the other stuff to stay on the court.

He really architected the post and considered the structure.
The good thing about BI is he can shoot over defenders.
The bad thing about BI is he can shoot over defenders.

Wouldn't the Raptors have needed to sign Castleton to a full contract for the rest of this year as he used up all his 10 days. To do that I suspect they would have needed to release somebody (i.e. Orlando) to clear a roster spot. And then pay out Orlando for the rest of the year.

I stand to be corrected on any of the above, it would basically cost the Raptors $170,000 more to keep Casleton instead of Robinson (Orlando's buy out). Is he worth that?

We would not need to do anything with ORob. The reason we can sign them to a 10day is because we already have a roster spot open from cutting old man Tucker.
