Best team of ex teammates you can assemble

What do you think is the greatest team of ex teammates of an individual player? This came to my mind the other day when it crossed my mind how many killer players Richard Jefferson played with.

So, using RJ as an example you can assemble a team of:
Prime LeBron
Just entering prime Kyrie,
Prime VC,
Prime JKidd,
Prime Kenyon Martin
All of the spurs guys
Early Steph
Early Klay,
Young but still very good Jokic and Murray

That would be a tough team to top.

My game, my rules, I’m saying the people you pick have to be them as they were when they played with your RJ substitute. So if you wanted to choose VC as your hub, sure, you could put Hakeem on the team but only the ancient, broken down Hakeem from his year with Vince.

That is pretty good. Minor ding for pierce/garnett since they were past their primes by the time they played with shaq but that prime kobe/wade/lebron trifecta is pretty killer.

Came here to post this. LeGM spent his entire career assembling super teams of superstars in their primes. As soon as his teammates left their primes, he'd either bail for a new team or trade them for someone younger.

Not saying your team isn’t great but I’d still lean my way since RJ’s team is deeper. I’d say that this game leans more to people like RJ who have moved around more and have a bigger pool to draw from.

That said, LeBron maybe could have taken it if he could have added annnybody from his first trip through Cleveland. Good lord almighty. Seven years there and there is not one single player you would pick from any of those teams ahead of anybody on the lists posted so far.

Yeah Nash and Amare too, all 5 were out of their prime.

Have to disagree there. Amare was only 25 there and was sixth in mvp voting on 25 and 9. Nash, while I will give you he was 33 that year, still did 17 and 11 on 50/40/90 that first season with Shaq.

Horace Grant

Prime MJ

Prime Shaq (Lakers)
Near prime Kobe
Prime Gary Payton
Prime Tmac

Might be missing a meaningful name or two as well

Westbrook - Jokic, Lebron, KD, Kawhi, Harden, PG, Melo, AD, Jamal Murray, Ibaka, and Dwight Howard

KD's def not as loaded as the guys mentioned so far, but KD has the prime Warriors - Stephy, Klay, Draymond, + aging Iggy.
Early Harden (or end of prime Harden with BK) + prime Ibaka + prime Westbrook from OKC
Prime Kyrie from BK + end of prime Harden
Prime Booker, past prime Beal from PHX

Super guard heavy, but some of the best scorers ever. Bigs are a problem after Ibaka.

Basically, you get the fully fleshed out OKC team if they stayed together, and then just add in the winningest team of all time, plus Kyrie, Booker and Beal.

Matt Barnes is also kinda stacked....
PG: Curry,Nash, CP3, Baron Davis
SG: Kobe, Iverson, Klay
SF: KD, Peja
PF: Pau Gasol, Amare, Webber, Griffin, Draymond
C: Howard, Marc Gasol, Cousins

Joe Smith's list is kinda insane (pulled off reddit) too:
PG: Russell Westbrook/Chauncey Billups/Tim Hardaway
SG: Kobe Bryant/Chris Mullin/Allen Iverson
SF: LeBron James/Carmelo Anthony/Kevin Durant
PF: Kevin Garnett/Pau Gasol/Chris Webber
C: Ben Wallace/Al Horford/Brook Lopez
Notable omissions: Metta World Peace, Marcus Camby, Joakim Noah, Jerry Stackhouse, Stephon Marbury, Latrell Sprewell, Kyle Korver, Wally Szczerbiak, BJ Armstrong, Mark Price, Terry Cummings, Chauncey Billups, Michael Redd, Andrew Bogut, Andre Iguodala, Toni Kukoc, Tom Chambers, Derrick Coleman, Luol Deng, Larry Hughes, Thabo Sefolosha, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Lamar Odom, Andrew Bynum
Guy has played with so many teams/teammates lol.

I think Kerr's or Horry's ends up the best just cuz they played with some of the greatest dynasties ever, but damn some of these guys have had stacked teammates their entire career.
