If Giannis Asks Out This Summer, Do You Trade Scottie?

With Dame's future uncertain and the entire roster pretty much aging out, there's a chance Giannis finally says it's time to leave the Bucks.
If he asks for a trade, would you trade Scottie and fillers for Giannis who will turn 31 in December?
IQ/ Shead
RJ/ Dick
Ingram/ Ochai
Giannis/ Boucher
Poeltl/ Maluach

Yes. But your lineup doesn't work. Have to trade Jakob for a stretch big, RJ either goes to the bench or is shipped out, and the first in this year's draft is surely going the other way.
IQ/Shead
Agbaji/JKW/ Barrett?
Ingram/Dick
Giannis/Boucher/Mogbo
x/Chomche

If the premise is Scottie for Giannis of course you take Giannis
Giannis is on another level, it's a DeMar for Kawhi situation, it's no disrespect to Scottie

For Giannis, yes, will probably need to ship out RJ Barret. And possibly Poeltl. But Barret first. Bucks probably don't want him so will have to find another deal.

Poeltl is too damn skilled offensively to let other teams double Giannis. Even though he can't space the floor, he will score bucket after bucket around the paint.
It's more RJ who would probably need to become the 6th man in favour of Ochai to increase the perimeter defense and shooting, I agree with that.

You’d also have to add in the ‘25 1st, and then maybe even one more future lotto protected 1st.

And pick swaps.

Giannis is a different player than someone like Dame or even Durant in that he can dominate both sides of the floor. This is an easy yes. You probably get 3-4 more years of elite play from Giannis.

Depends on the picks. I'd be against trading all of them.

Yeah honestly Giannis/Poeltl defensively would be incredible. Lopez is a pure PnR drop guy but Poeltl is able to be a bit more aggressive.
If you got enough shooting from your 1/2/3 I think Giannis/Poeltl can work, and you close with Giannis at the 5 some matchups.
IQ/Agbaji/Ingram/Giannis/Poeltl is interesting. All 3 have shot 37%+ this year and in theory Giannis would improve the quality of their looks.

And you are immediately in a spot to get another star.
IQ or Ingram would be prime candidates immediately to be flipped for another superstar.

I think Giannis only has another 2-3 elite seasons left in him (his style of play is not going to age well), but you still do it.

Why would a team trade a superstar for IQ or Ingram?
