Great interview.

I had just been thinking about that team the other day. I don't think people realized at rhe time just how stacked it was.

You had a few players that were very high caliber, but towards the end of their careers. A couple of all-star level players who were in their prime. Then, a bunch of young takented players about to enter their prime.

It was the perfect mixture of ages, stages & talent.

You gotta think. If you add 2019 OG, Pascal, Norm, Fred, Serge or Green to our current roster, that's a significant upgrade to our team. That's not even counting Kyle.or Kawhi.

That team was built for the long grind of the playoffs. It had everything you needed and could play any style necessary to win.

Team was so stacked we had Leonard on the other team’s worst offensive player on most nights, and he played what was the worst defense of his career (still good) other than the last couple, and we still won a championship.

I’m not sure another team would been able to pull off what we did to let Leonard rest like that, other than the stacked Warriors.

I wouldn't say teams like the Golden States having one limited defender or one limited scorer cannot win the championship, but our team having these two-way players make us very flexible in either adding more offense vs more defense. It can simply adjust based on opponent.

I can't think of a more complete team than the one we had. Maybe would have to go look at one of the Spurs teams to have it be close.

When you look at the careers that Siakam, Fred, OG and Norm have gone on to have as well, it just makes you realize how stacked and talented that team really was.
