GT: Raptors @ Nets 3:30pm (Sportsnet)

Post#1 » by shmoosicle » Sun Apr 6, 2025 2:34 pm

Final game in this series. Raptors have won 2 of 3 and are favoured to win again.
Barrett is day to day for rest, and Barnes is day to day for his hand.

We need to clinch 7th first and I think it involves the Spurs having to win one more game whether it's another team or us. Otherwise it would be a coin toss.

Us losing 1 or Spurs winning one will clinch the 7th. Hence my post.

Edit: afterwards Darko can unleash the Return of the Curse of the Creature's Ghost. Or is it the Curse of the Return of the Creature's Ghost?

We just need either 1 loss or a Spurs win to keep 7th

Hopefully we won't see another pathetic season like this for a while. Cheering for losses in 3 of the past 5 years isn't my idea of fun...

My under 29.5 wins bet completely hinges on this game. We're guaranteed to beat the Hornets, but I think we can lose at Dallas and at SAS. This is a must lose game. After starting 8-31 then trying to tank I still can't believe my bet is in danger.

Scottie is out tonight

No BQ + Poeltl for this game, just Barrett. The fight for draft position is on.

I don't see how we don't drop to 8th. It's practically impossible we lose against our remaining opponents unless they do us a massive favor. SA has straight up easy losses to everyone except us on the last day. If we are going to lose one by force this has to be the one.

Just need to lose one or have San Antonio win one and 7th is assured.

It can happen today. San Antonio is playing Portland and it is possible to beat the Blazers.

And if it is true that RJ is the only guy to play today while Barnes, Quick and Poeltl sit...a loss is very possible.

Apparently ESPN's lineup report was completely off as Barrett is playing, or maybe I misunderstood it.

The Spurs should beat the Blazers today. I don't think this board can handle that last game of the season. Darko needs to handle business here
