I think they like Swider and want to keep him for the summer / training camp and see what he has

Tank is done. Tank commanders relieved of their duties? Or due for a promotion?

Did they reach a guarantee threshold or something? Why waive them?

I'd be shocked if Robinson isn't brought back. He seems like a good 3rd Center who you hope gets better to be a legit backup soon.

Setting up for the off-season. With the new cap rules you have to be strategic about who's on the roster for trade and long term...

Both guys showed potential to be nba level players. Robinson seems logical as a third C

I dont mind Orlando as a 3rd string big, really don't want him to be the primary backup.

Especially given his late season injury.

I like Chomche's potential, but this kid likely won't be ready for meaningful NBA minutes next year.

Summer League -> PreSeason -> He'll jump between NBA and gleague and be an injury failsafe for blow out games.

you can keep a 3rd C in the gleague, its not like teams play 3 C every game, he gets called up if there is an injury.
otherwise, the raptors will be using 4 players to a C position

If there is 5 positions on a team, and 18 players, you kind of have to use 4 players to 3 positions on average. It really is not that insane to think you would have 4 C's.

Swider is meh don't really care tbh if he's back or not (obv best of luck to the guy on a personal note)

But Robinson clearly deserves a spot as the 3rd string C as he is at least a serviceable backup that doesn't get completely slaughtered lol like some useless ones that are out there and he always seems fairly ready to play no matter when he's subbed in, he's not great obv but at least he's a solid player to help if there are ever injuries, rest etc that happen.

I think we are just going to lock them up for next year with partial guarantees. Lawson is restricted as a two way so we have some leverage over him with match rights.

Don't care for either of these two. Lawson was an interesting mid-season pick-up though.
