Feel like a lot of people will root for an L out of habit and get pissed if our starters play at all

I don't think the starters will play much more than they have been because so far, the FO has been pretty consistent with what it wants and the actions on court have matched.

All that to say, they really ARE prioritizing the development of the young guys and are maximizing reps this year so that they're as advanced as possible in their skillset next year and beyond. That has synergized well with tanking, but I don't think it was ever the point to be as bad as possible, but rather just be opportunistic with losing.

Scottie's a special case, his shooting and offensive 'hub' reps are too important, which has made the timing of his hand injury crappy.

I really hope they finally release Chris Boucher out of Bobby Webster's basement dungeon.

It could be that it is Chris that has requested not to play in meaningless games in order not to risk injury. It would make perfect sense given that he will be a free agent probably signing his last real contract above minimum. His style of play is not always what I’d describe as controlled and last year ended in an mcl injury.
