Yup, it’s a crapshoot. With Masai at least we know he’s above average at drafting and talent acquisition.

People might not wanna hear this, but at the end of the day, the success of this current roster will really depend on how Barnes ultimately pans out. His development has been less than stellar lately and it's caused people to try and rely on striking gold in this draft, but we should have struck gold back in '21.

Hopefully that really is the case and he improves significantly next season.

We are in a great position. Masai and our elite scouting team don't need #1 picks handed to us. We do our research and build elite teams like we did before to win a championship and we'll do it again

Scottie will get better, but at this point I don't see him becoming a true alpha #1 scoring option. We just have to keep improving the team. You never know who will come along and develop into that True 1AAA. It could be the 9th pick in this year's draft, for example. Don't trust the process, but enjoy the process!

We barely saw Quickley last year because he was injured for almost the entire season. He's only 25 so you hope he can show he is a high-level starting PG.

Scottie, Gradey and Walters are all under 23 and hopefully can continue improving.

Ingram will depend on health.

Who knows how the #9 pick will pan out.

An off-the-board pick becomes a superstar in almost every draft. Masai is one of the best scouting executives in the league. Now is his chance to prove his worth.
