I was all in on Bryant before digging into Cedric. Now it's a toss up

Who of these 2 are better at attacking the rim?

Cedric. But Cedric is basically better at everything right now, though he's also 2 years older, but he's also 2 years older without the fluid athleticism that Bryant has. But he's just so robotically efficient, like genuinely reminiscent of Kawhi. His jumper is incredibly consistent, high release point and brutally efficient.

22 is still pretty young with room to grow. I think I’m leaning coward, but it seems the mock drafts haven’t caught up yet as he’s still ranked mid to late first round most sites.

Dick for Utah's 21 pick and draft Sorber/Yang or trade him for Kessler straight up

Draft Carter/Noa/Fleming with the 9th pick

Start the season and look for a IQ or RJ + one bench piece consolidation deal

As this is a copycat league, any one of these prospects play a similar game to SGA? Kasp or Demin?

Someone please explain to me why Coward didn't declare last year in a weaker draft but did this year when he played only 6 games and is a year older.

Jase Richardson has true three level scoring ability that can't be ignored:

49.3% from the field
41.2% from three
83.6% free throw

68.8% at the rim
43% mid-range
39% dribble jumpers
42.9% spot-up 3's
45.7% catch-and-shoot 3s

He creates his own shot and finishes from any place on the court. He has the footwork and IQ to read the floor. Reminds me a bit of IQ coming out of college, but I see the upside to be more because he is tough, and willing to defend and grab boards when needed. He's the guy who wants to carry his team but doesn't in a smart low turnover / high percentage shooting way. Size is going to be a question but the NBA always has room for talent and guys who don't fit a perfect mold.

Thought he could go higher in the draft if he had a good year with a bigger school, and he appears to be right. Even though it was only 6 games, he was still impressive in those games.

Using a 6 game sample size as an indication of anything is not something that makes much sense to me. Even if I could accept that a 6 game sample size is somehow useful, the numbers per 40 are similar to what Coward put up the previous season, there is some improvement in a few areas but again it's a tiny 6 game sample size and you expect a player to improve the longer they stay in college, you expect a player who will be 22 before he plays a single NBA game to be close to a finished product.

He didn't get nearly the amount of publicity he has received this year. The Combine measurements and a few media personalities liking you can change perception. He's an okay player but the draft hype machine went from him being a cool underrated second rounder to being a first which makes him a bit overrated considering the track record against elite competition.

It's annoying that any interesting sleeper gets un-slept on so quick with the social media cycles.

This my pick such a good player....Its between him and Coward but Coward is also older....So i think i go Jase....But would not be mad at Coward if Masai believes hes better....But i am more confident Jase can be a PG for us and i feel we need that a little more...

As for the 3&D guys like Bryant/Fleming/Noa....I don't think any of them possess the ability to handle the ball well, get to the rim on their own, or create a shot for them selves or others....Thats why im out on them.....I think you can find good 3&D guys in later parts of drafts as well should not take them as high as 9th....With 9th we need to try and find more...

If Tre/Kon fall to us though you have to pick them at 9 and figure it out later....As much as this board hates Queen/CMB you can't rule out them either if Masai likes them which he has shown interest by scouting games from both of them ....Gonna be a fun draft night...Lots can happen...

He will be at 9, no teams above wants him.
Nets already looking to trade up for Fears, meaning Pelicans is also looking for Fears, while Wizards rumours to be with Queen.
And most likely we will pass as well.

Even though he missed most of the year, there's still skill developmental that occurs. Maybe he gets a little bigger, puts on more weight/muscle over 12 months. Whatever it was, he's impressed a lot more scouts this year.

He still has 70+ college games for scouts to evaluate.
