I thought this was going to Rick Brunson, and am holding out hope that the fine folks of Rick Brunson . com from another life would be revived!
They fired a coach that took them to them to the ECF for the first time in a quarter century, and didn't have a replacement dialed in on? That is classic Knicks being Knicks. Or more specifically, Dolan being Dolan.
At least when GSW did this to Jackson, and we did it to Casey, both teams were pretty focused on whom the replacement will be ahead of time.

i feel like it would be more time-efficient if they just sent out an email blast to all 29 teams asking if they didn't want their head coach anymore.
