Kon will be good, yet he does not fit the team. It's not as easy as trading a guard for a big, our franchise has rarely been able to acquire a relevant big through trade or free agency. I would roll the dice on KM, I would bet on Gradey and Jakobe developing into nice enough players that we don't regret not taking Kon.

I love Kons game! I think he’s strong and crafty enough to makeup for his lack of speed. Ginobili-esque upside. Not confident about his defense though but big enough not to get bullied.

Kon Knueppel is going top 5.

Ace, Fears, and Maluach have nothing on this guy.

Both can kind of fit any team right now would be happy with either, probably more so with Mal as there’s less pressure with building around him imo. Kon strikes me as a guy that’s good but not quite great and you’re trying to bill him as a lead scoring option to drive your team. Somewhat of a good problem to have until you have to pay him.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Maluach. Fit and opportunity matters. I like Kon but If we still love DIck and Walter then Kon might not be an upgrade.

This is a tough one. I'm a fan of both and I'd be happy with either selection. I think Kon is gonna be a hell of a player and a special shooter, especially if he gets to play off of a 1A creator. He and IQ as a backcourt duo would be lethal from long-range but I'd worry if they can coexist defensively. But he's a winning player you'd want on your side regardless.

But I think Maluach's rare combo of rim deterrence/switchability, offensive rebounding/scoring efficiency in the paint plus that potential to be a stretch option makes him an invaluable sort of prospect. Neatly slots in as a backup C and eventual starter.

I do not want Kon on this team. The guy is not quick at all and you can't teach that. This team does not have a spot for another slow or bad defending guard. Let someone else that needs the spacing have him and he can shoot the lights out for them. And hopefully it won't be the Raptor's decision.

Falling 5 spots is how we eneded up taking Dick though, so I'm not going to be shocked if it is.

This would be the toughest decision for me out of any 2 players.

I live Kon's game & I think he would improve the team, but I think we need a player like Maluach more. I have to go with Maluach. I do think need will play a large role in who the Raps draft.

Only way I go with Kon on this one if if the Raps are able to get another 1st round pick & nab one of the other 7 footers.

Maluach.

I like Kon, but we have a glut of wings. I'm usually a BPA advocate, but my concern about drafting another wing is that it may hurt the value and potential of players we already have.

I would also like to move past the carousel of 24 - 26 year old 10 day centers that we have been running for the past 2 years.

Stay away from Kon. He’s a dumpling with a j, not a quality nba prospect.

I was considering the scenario where this might happen and both are available at 9..

we should do everything to pry pick 10# from HOU

they are shifting to win now team anyway, thats the team to throw an RJ package + future 1st type package to.

SO WE CAN GET BOTH

--IQ and Kon efficient, high volume 3PT spacing, opening optimal environment for Scottie/Ingram

-Both have long term star or atleast positive impact role players

--We also get our centre of the future, improve overall defense, depth to our bigs

THATS THE TYPE TRADE WE SHOULD MAKE OVER STAR HUNTING ALREADY

STARTERS
C - Poeltl
PF- Barnes
SF- Ingram
SG - Kon
PG- IQ

BENCH
C- Malauch
PF- Mogbo
SF- Dick
SG - Obaji
PG - Walter

let's gooo

insane depth, youth, growth potential while also competitive already

Somewhat Indiana clone with arguably better depth.

After watching Kon play, you see the high basketball IQ, but you also see the lack of elite athleticism. Maluach on the other end is pretty much the opposite. Crazy athlete, with loads of room to grow basketball IQ wise. Kon's game scares me as it could just be mediocre in the NBA. What he was able to do in college, he will not get in the the NBA playing against elite guards. He won't beat guys off the dribble at the next level. I will say he just wants to win and will work his butt off. I just think the talent is limited for the NBA.
