Draft Poll: Do you expect #9 pick to play alot next season?

are you expecting the #9 pick to be a part of the rotation next year?

if the player needs development, he could see a lot of time at the 905. last year's rookies got time right away due to injuries. barring injuries, #9 may not crack the rotation this season - especially if we are trying to make the playoffs.

what are your expectations? are you evaluating this draft expecting them to contribute immediately?

If it's a center they should get a good amount of playing time because the backup spot is a huge hole that needs to be filled

We only have a "hole" at C.

But even if we draft a C, we should absolutely be adding a reliable backup that can start when Yak misses games to injury.

Internal competition/depth is great

I hope we pick Fleming and give him a ton of minutes at the back up 5, and also go "small" with him Mogbo and Barnes. It would be the ideal front court in the current NBA.

About 20 minutes per game.

15-20 mins top. If its a PG or C they could earn closer to 20, but if it a wing/PF they going to be a little deeper in the rotation and spend more time in the G league.

Luke Kornet is top of my list, Thomas Bryant second, but both might prefer their current situations and both arent going to get paid big dollars anyways.

Would fit the rasho/gray/baynes big white stiff who shows flashes mold.

Gonna be a bench player most likely. So like 12-18 mpg?

This is a great question but too soon.
Assuming no trades the pick will get backup mins. Is this a lot? Compared to other Tor 9th picks maybe low usage since this team has 5 starters vs past teams less talent.
