here's the scenario - ace bailey drops. raptors are deciding between him and maluach.

who do you take?

He's the consensus 3-4th overall pick. If he drops that far that means he has red flags. I would pass as well.

Super interesting. I haven't liked Bailey much throughout the draft cycle. I remember thinking he looks like Gradey offensively the first couple times I saw him. Now he measures smaller than expected and starts interviewing poorly. Starting to think I'd rather gamble on Carter reaching some wild all nba type ceiling over ace.

Never thought it would be laid out in these terms. Crazy but I think I'd go Maluach

But majority of Raptor fans seem to have Maluach basically on the team already atp lol

I think I gotta go Ace. More skill, more potential. Not that he knocked it out of the park, but Ace was at least above average at the combine and Maluach was as slow as hell.

OG dropped to 23rd because of red flags. I'm glad we didn't pass on him.

The only red flag was a torn ACL, which caused him to drop. Probably one of the most obvious picks in Raptors history.

A lot of fans from different teams loved OG. Bleacher Report gave this pick a B+, everyone else gave straight A's.

It seems historically Masai's pretty happy picking up players who dropped (Gradey, OG, Ja'Kobe), unless it's a really obvious fake prospect like Skal, to which any nitwit (i.e. every scouting team in the league) could see coming.
