We knew he wasn't going to, but he was with us that year and we got it done. That's all that matters, especially in this thread ;)

Two days before I took a major professional exam I studied 4 months for. Greatest moment in many years of my life at that point.

My dog died in the middle of the Sixers series. If it wasn't for that, might have been the greatest few weeks of my life.

Happiest days of my life.

It was surreal.

Hope we all get to relive it soon.

Downtown after each game was electrifying, the parade was amazing as well. Had the most perfect weather that day.

The stoic superstar with the broad shoulders. Love Kawhi.

I remember Kawhi and his family going to Niagara Falls, and a Jays game, and getting my hopes up. Then he went home to SoCal, and a picture came out of him at a convenience store or fast food place, wearing sweats, leaning on the counter. He looked so comfortable, so at home I thought right away, he ain't coming back.

When we first made the trade I was somewhat lukewarm on it tbh. Didn't know if Kawhi was even healthy enough to play for us and I was 100% positive he was leaving for LA, he forced himself out of San Antonio.

As we won the championship and seeing him at Niagara Falls and Jays game, I talked myself into him staying. Afterall who leaves a championship team? Sounds absurd, sure enough he left. Lol.
