raptors are choosing between the 2. who do you take?

A combo guard vs point forward masquerading as lead playmakers when neither can create an advantage. Tough choice.

Jak will probably be a better shooter and Demin a better defender.

I can't choose, I don't want either of them.

I don't think Demin will have NBA level so offense, doesn't shoot it, doesn't get to the line, so Jak.

I like both, but it's Demin for me. Best court vision and passing ability in the class, and I think his size and ability to create advantages with quick decision-making (without needing to dribble the air out of the ball) will really fit in well in Darko's system, and will look even better in a situation where he has superior offensive talent to work with. I think Kasparas has a better floor, and is probably more adaptable into a variety of team situations. But I would take the upside swing with Demin. I think he can improve on the turnovers and get his shot to where it needs to be.

I like Jak. I think he'll have a good NBA career.

Really like both of them. Demin has the higher ceiling for sure. Jak has the higher floor. I'm going with Demin because I'd rather strikeout trying for the HR if this is who we are considering. Also really like Demin's motor and intensity.

Don't like either, lots of better candidates available at #9.

Take the taller player

Jak pretty easily. Theoretically he can do everything Denim can do and is a better shooter. Theoretically.

Jak is smaller than Demin but still the same height as Kon Knueppel and with a longer wingspan, by 1.5”. He has 15 lbs on Tre Johnson and 25 on Fears. Pretty good guard size.

I pick him because I buy the foul drawing and shooting more.

These poll results are extremely suprising. I'm a supporter of both players and think its very close but it is very clear that Egor Demin has made the right decisions in the postseason to prove his value as a lottery pick. Demin has worked out for every team in the lottery not in the top 4 excluding Houston. Teams are interested. Reports say there are teams that are no longer concerned with his shooting. He has been working very hard on improving that aspect of his game and showed teams he has the work ethic and mindset a player needs to improve. He also has an elite skill, not many prospects with an absolute elite skill in this draft. His passing at 6'10 is similar to Ben Simmons.

Demin is going to be picked in the 5-12 range. Kasparus is more likely 7-18. I'd be fine with Toronto drafting eitherm of these players but Demins upside is far superior and his current draft stock is as well.
