Essengue is taller. CMB is vastly better at basketball

It's really close... I think Essengue has a higher floor. Both look most like role players to me though

Just heard there is some kind of controversy with Essengue planning to attend the draft while his team is in the finals of their league. Real shades of Vince graduation attendance. I think I will go with CMB though he sounds like an upscale version of Mogbo to me.

I'm out on Essengue. I understand the bet, I'm just not buying that it'll translate.

CMB is super interesting with shooting, but not huge on him either. I think Carter Bryant will be the default here if none of their prime targets are there (they'll be targeting Maluach imo).

I would be happy with either at 9, but CMB for me. I think he gives you elite defense while also being a productive advantage creator on offense despite not being able to shoot.

Really hoping we don't touch either of these guys at #9.

Just too much better talent available to rationalize taking either one of these guys.

I don't think he lasts past 35. Need to trade for him.

CMB has a higher floor and he's shown improvement. That's a good reason to go with him. Essengue looks like he has high bust potential. He wasn't that productive in a weak league.

I barely watched any CMB highlights bc his shooting drill clips were so bad it scared me off entirely

I did watch some Noa tape recently bc I thought he would be the pick. that was definitely a bit worrisome

Now that I’ve seen the CMB film I think the choice was pretty clear. Reminds me of the Scottie pick tbh
