I’d be shocked if they are able to make tight draft day trade decisions. Maybe with seconds.

I would be surprised to see them make huge splash on draft day. They only ever do small marginal ones.
What I don't want to see is trading down to get more marginal talents. Just draft BPA. If anything, they should do a consolidation/upgrade trades. We have more than enough middling prospects.

Yes -
But likely not the deal we hope for.
We have a finite amount of spots so I don't see us adding additional back-end second rounders which is the obvious boring type of trade I would expect.
Best guess, we draft @ 9 in boring and unspectacular fashion and then we maybe try and move up with 39 or just flat out trade out for future SRPs.

My best wish would be a trade down options to get two 1st rounders instead , then it’s stating pat #9, then dropping down with a swap of pick then dropping out of the 1st rounds completely.
I just hope we at least draft someone today .
But my worse case scenario would be not drafting anyone today plus surrendering a future 1st pick for a meh upgrade .
I think the most likely scenario is we stand pat at #9 but with all the rumours , I guess it could go in all directions
