Garland on the move? If not then this doesn't make sense

Edit: Ok, so they don't believe they can retain Jerome

Good deal for Cleveland because of upside, what if pulls a mid 2010s Shaun Livingston for years.

I had suggested Barrett for Ball. Robert sleeping at the wheel.

They also turned down two picks for Caruso, got a mid deal for LaVine and are holding onto Vucevic for only God knows what reason. I’ll never understand teams not trading players at their highest value.

Excellent trade for the Cavs and not a horrible trade for the Bulls if they believe they can rehab Okoro’s value as a 3 and D guy. The Cavs also drafted Tyrese Proctor, now all of a sudden they have size in the backcourt along with 6’6 Lonzo.

Barrett for Ball is not a good deal with Ball's injury history.

As concerns getting off salary it is spectacular though. But yes as a basketball move it isn’t great unless you have some goal in mind for the flexibility
