Good for Davion. Felt like he was an awesome locker room guy for us.

Wow, from being a minimum 3rd PG at best to getting a great payday in a tight cap world. Tells you how great he was with Miami.

He's an actual difference maker on the defensive end, so good for him.

Happy for him, would have liked to keep him as our back up PG but I understand wanting to invest time into Shead.

Beautiful Miami and some cash, I think it worked out well for him.

You can get a lot of these smaller defensive guards in the draft towards the back end of the the 1st and into 2nd round. Really don't need overpay for them unless you have a specific need. SAC drafted him top 10 knowing exactly what he was, then just dumped him for nothing, lol

100% a team option not reported yet. Heat overpaid for the option, because they want capspace for next summer.

Occhai is way more valuable than Davion. If we got him at 12 million per, I’d be surprised.

I'm happy for Davion, but he's not worth that much.

Thought he was underrated when he was with us. Happy for him.

Sometimes we are gifted picks or decent trade pieces and we move off of them. I wish we still had him.

They wouldn't have been able to afford him. Shead is cheaper on a rookie deal.

Not on the Heat. He’s a rotation role player. That’s like the 80tj percentile outcome of an MLE signing. Check the history.

i thought for sure he was gonna be a bust after the first two years with SAC. Good for him on getting this second contract
