Who the hell pays for that when you can get IPTV for 8 dollars per month or stream for free.
Heck, even TV packages from Rogers/Bell are cheaper than that loll.

Makes sense considering Rogers made 20 billion gross revenue and only 1.75 billion net revenue last year.
Have some sympathy for a small, struggling Canadian company.

My only hope for why they might eventually sell the Raptors.
The most valuable asset for a debt strapped company that doesn't understand basketball.

Who tf cares. They can increase it 2000% and it shouldn't impact you if you look around
The last time I remember people paid for cable was in the late 90s. Then DirecTV american bootleg satellites made their way into Canada, then F2A, then IPTV which is holding strong for over 10 years almost.

I cancelled my subscription. They increased the price by 50% in a year. It was 19.99 when I bought it. It's ridiculous. How do you get a IPTV? Have no idea where to look. Greedy jerks.

You see the signs everywhere driving around. FB marketplace. Mom and pop computer stores. Its pretty easy with a 5-8 dollar subscription with more tv and sports you will ever have time for

Yeah, that's not happening Rogers. As others have said, that will be a 50% increase in a year.
If you want to shrink the fan base and/or encourage people to pirate, this is a very good way of going about it.
