As the title states. We've had a lot of these in the past. Most recently there was a contingent wanting Pascal traded to allow Scottie to "take over". When do we start to see the board turn on Scottie to turn the keys over to CMB?

Way too early wow lol. Long term it’s a question mark but if CMB is Draymond I don’t see an issue here at all.

You very well know that if CMB shows any sign of promise and Scottie doesn't make improvement, this kind of stuff will start, lol.

I think if they wanted to make a move for a star Scottie should be the first piece dangled in a trade anyway. When the Giannis rumours started in the summer, Scottie should’ve been the Center piece of that deal. Has nothing to do with CMB…

People mostly criticize Scottie because of his subpar 3pt shooting, and CMB has the same problem.

Neither are good enough to make roster altering moves around

if he has a similar rookie season to Scottie did, and Scottie comes back as the same player he’s been since his rookie year, it’ll be before years end and for good reason.

If you can replace Scottie with Scottie 2.0 and turn Scottie + stuff into an elite piece or a better fit then you gotta do it

We got Mogbo for that. Every minute Mogbo plays, I predict will be seen as standing in the way of CMB by the crowd in here.

Yeh but CMB is a shiny rookie which means he could be anything. He could even be Scottie Barnes!

Scottie is going to make an All-NBA leap this year and people will be wondering how elite the Raptors defense will be once CMB starts next to him.

Would be a good problem to have, but let's maybe wait until CMB plays a single NBA minute first.

I could see some people eventually liking CMB's game more than Scotties. It's a little cleaner. He has offensive strengths. You kinda know what to expect from him.

Scottie is more of a jack of all trades. He needs to master something.

theres 96min at the 4 and 5 spots, 30 poeltl 33 cmb 33 barnes with both playing few min at the 3...plenty of room for all and we got all our big man minutes covered

“The pecking order” and “Give CMB the keys.” We know it’s going to happen. Unfortunately we can’t avoid it even if it was disaster last time.

While I still find the premise fairly ridiculous, if it does happen, let’s not spend 3 years evaluating this time.

The first sign that CMB might be as good or better and that they won’t fit well together, pull the trigger.
