Salary is LOW for an architect role but for a young person this might be a wild ride.
If anyone is interested DM me and I can connect you to the recruiter.
EDIT: I'm a react/node guy some I'm guessing that is the stack.

Ah yes, the old "we know you want to be able to tell people you work for MLSE*” discount.
*insert any company in an industry associated with people's hobbies

there was a time in my life where this would have been a dream role, but I feel like I'm sufficiently jaded at this point that I don't even really find it appealing.

I don't want to come off a jerk in that this is too low for me. I'm 18 years deep into my career currently working under my own corp and billing to an American client. So basically no salary job in Canada makes sense for me financially. All that said it's 120-130+7%. That is WILDLY low for an architect role. I sent it to a recruiter buddy of mine I used to go to games with and he told me he's trying to find an architect for 150k and can't.

Exactly. I think we had a CPA or something here working for them and he was about 30% below is industry avg for comp.

Yup really low.
For reference, I'm losing my junior(iush) engineers right now places like Stripe and Pinterest who are paying like 300k TC.
True tech leads / architects are getting 500k TC
