This is the most positive I’ve been since the 19/20 season. On paper we have a good roster plus the East is terrible. Only injuries can stop us.

The enigma that is this roster has me very curious!

There are going to be some comical moments where a lineup featuring Barnes, CMB, and Poeltl doesn't score for like 10 minutes.

But I do think overall they will be a cut above other teams and in the running for 50 wins. Delusional? Probably.

But I've seen a lot of Raptors teams over the years and this one is on the upper end, talent wise. The only thing missing is a Lowry type glue guy to keep it all together.

I'm always super optimistic, we have the pieces this year to play a lot of different styles and we match up well across the board. Yes a Lowry type or even a healthy Landry fields / Anthony Parker would cement us as a top 4 east team imo but not every team can hang with a BI Barnes RJ IQ Jakob lineups / guys like GD Walter Sandro and Ochai can provide 15 in a pinch 2 out of those 4 project to a positive defensively

Hopefully we've destigmatized this in 2025, Magic Johnson is doing fantastic!

I think we have a potentially really deep team. Ochai /Shead/Gradey/CMB/Jakobe aren’t even starting, that can be a pretty deep bench imo. If Darko can figure out the rotations this could be a fun season.

All of those guys are very streaky offensively. Could give you 15 or 2 points on any given night. We wouldn’t want them starting.

They should bring a consistent skill to the table like defense or shooting. We have that at the very least which is what you want from the bench.
