And yes, I am well aware he missed last night's game and is undoubtedly going to be an All-Star this season. He's having a monster season, but like I said, we have seen firsthand how that goes when he's your best player.

Going to be interesting to see which Pascal bears out over the year. He's had about as many stinkers as good games thus far.

My first thought is that he's barely taking any from the corners so far this season, only about 2% of his total 3PA. He's been at or over 29% the past two seasons, and those corner shots have generally been important for his overall 3P%.

They've been without Nembhard, Mathurin, McConnell, and most of their frontcourt rotation for most of the season. Their top five players in minutes played are Pascal Siakam, Jarace Walker, Aaron Nesmith, Ben Sheppard, and Isaiah Jackson. There's no PG, no C, and really no other scorer in that group.
The next five players are RayJ Dennis, Jay Huff, Tony Bradley, Quenton Jackson, and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl. Purely by that 10-man rotation, they're easily one of the worst teams in the league. I wouldn't read anything into Siakam as a player from this season.

I hope they trade him. Would suck to watch him waste his prime on that.

Quit getting caught up in counting stats.
Someone has to get those when that many teammates are injured.
