Giannis Antetokounmpo and his agent Alex Saratsis are having conversations with the Milwaukee Bucks about the two-time NBA MVP's future -- and discussing whether his best fit is staying or a move elsewhere, sources told ESPN on Wednesday.

A resolution to these talks is expected in the coming weeks, sources said, which will result in shaping if Antetokounmpo is available ahead of the Feb. 5 trade deadline.

Makes sense to get a bidding war going now unless they're just gonna send him where he wants to go, which was the Knicks based on the offseason reporting. Though maybe that's changed

Imagine there were always whispers a generational player would love to play for you....he finally asks out from his team.....but you went out and blew 5 first round draft picks on Mikal Bridges.

He's going to the Knicks.

The Turner signing was done specifically so they could package him with Giannis. He is the perfect compliment at C next to Giannis.

It will probably be a trade of front courts between both teams:
- Giannis, Turner & Kuzma to the Knicks
- Towns, OG & Robinson to the Bucks (and maybe Miles McBride?)

Turner's trade restriction is lifted Dec. 15th or 16th.

If there's any guy that deserves to be traded to the team of his choice, it's Giannis.

Really hate how guys like Butler and KD got their wishes fulfilled and were traded to their preferred destinations.

Giannis was on record saying how he hopes all Euro stars end up in big markets (following the Luka trade). Methinks he'll request a trade to New York.

We don't have the assets to get Giannis. But Turner would be a great fit when he's able to be traded.

Bucks are going to do right by him in a trade, and any chance that Giannis might have wanted to come here went out the door with Masai. The pre-existing Masai/Giannis connection was the only thing that made it a semi-realistic possibility for us to dream on before.

Ya obviously it's not happening but was just running by some hypothetical proposals.

Finding a real good fit for him is a bit tough especially since he's so ball dominant.

OKC would easily have the assets to get it done without giving up Shai or JDub but I don't think they'll do it.

I think we'd kick the tires on it but it wouldn't happen unless he really wants to come here.
