first game home after a long road trip... this has the makings of a big let down... hopefully the bright lights of ESPN will give our boys some motivation.

does everyone forget that Bosh dropped 37 on Sheed a few years ago?

He never really fit in w/ Detroit, but I always liked his game; solid defensively, good rebounder, wiling passer. His scoring just never came around like I expected. Part of that was because we tried to make him into a spot up shooter, but he also just never really took that next step. He could get into the paint but couldn't ever finish.

Anyway, should be a good game. I'll be curious to see if we try and keep our starters rested for Boston. Stuckey & Maxiell could potentially get a lot of run this game. And that Sheed/Bosh matchup should be a good one.

He hasn't changed much here. He still takes a lot of ill advised 3 point shots in the face of the defender. He has the ability to slash, but like you said he's not really a great finisher. He makes up for it with his hustle though, often saving Bargnani on the defensive glass.

This is going to be one of those games where the Raps are so damn stagnant on offense and sort of make a comeback late with a couple of three's but Detroit pulls away on a Chauncey and-1. A Bargnani missed three on the other side and the salami and cheese is out...for the away team of course.

Dont go into it with them. Never mind the fact that Prince was unreal when RIP was out, and took on the scoring load, and can score in every concievable way, play outstanding defense, and can handle the ball like a PG.

Just leave it be.

As long as the Pistons win by 5 and cover the spread I'm a happy camper :)

This is a game that we probably should lose, even on home court...the Pistons are simply a better team on both ends at this point, and without Ford, it will be extremely difficult to get open looks (heck, with Ford it would be extremely difficult).

Then again, it is becoming increasingly difficult to figure this team out; the Raptors have been all over the map in recent weeks, so a win isn't out of the question. I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

I don't want to get too excited for this one. The Pistons are great but for some reason I can't wait for the tipoff!
