Surprise: Portland Trailblazers. They lose the #1 overall pick for the entire season. I figured they would be way below .500 and miss the playoffs again.
Disappointment: Miami Heat. This is the team that won it all two years ago. Last year they didn't get off to a great start but still made the playoffs. I can't believe they're dead last in the East.

Great contribution.
Surprises: Portland, Lakers, Isiah (I said he'd be fired before the end of the 2007 calendar year), Celtics (didn't think they'd be this good)
Disappointments: Shaq, Bulls, Rockets (Tmac), rookie class, Oden.

So that's my surprise

Surprises - A team with VC or TMAC can't go forward.

ROY so good for Portland. Also that the coach of the year

has his players competing with each other and not against the other team (ball movemen tof last year) and yet to find a rotation healty or not.
Disappointments - Bag-barfi's ball-chucking

play compared to all second year players and some first year players.
Minnesota's team, I know they are young and do play hard but with so much so called talent I'd figure someone other than Jefferson would emerge.

Disappointed in Houston, they're more talented than they have been in yrs, should be a top 5 western conf team
Surprised at the Knicks, people had them makin the playoffs wit the addition of Randolph but in their case, talent doesn't equal success
