Quick synopsis, if you want it:
1) Interviewed Bosh pre-game. Bosh: "this team has a new style" ie their going to take the ball to the hoop a lot more and get foul shots.
2) Quick shout out to Paul Jones, brother Mark hosts NBA studio.
3) Commentators (Shulman and Brown) dwell on European content a bit. Brown dwells on the fact that the Raptors' top six scorers shoot above 80% but don't go to the line at all.
4) Mitchell mic'd up tonight: 1) in the locker room, telling the team to take the ball to the hoop; 2) in a huddle, telling the team to take it to the hoop and don't wait for the ref to call fouls.
5) Mark Jones with a slip: calling the grizzlies "Vancouver".
6) Showed Bosh's youtube video; both commentators loved it.
7) Recurring theme (a little bit) in commentary: Pistons "men", Toronto "boys".
TJ Ford: showed clip of injury; consensus is that his family and health maybe more important than basketball.
9) Interview with BC: BC expects 48 minutes of solid PG play; team has overcome a lot of injury problems.
10) Detroit "best bench in conference"
Halftime:
Walton: Raptors "young children". Key to the Raps: Bargnani. Defense has improved but offense has slumped. Toronto needs to run.
SAS: Bargnani "not good enough". Raptors not good. Calderon not in class of Billups. Toronto not quick enough; not enough ball handlers.
