Last Season VS This Season - Who Are We Missing Badly?

Compared to last season, this season is very inconsistent. We're more like the Mike James era where our offense looks good on some nights, bad on most, plus we can't seem to hold on to a 10+ lead.

Whether it's Chris Ford's part on our coaching staff, MoPete's clutch plays, Garbo's BBall IQ, Chris Bosh playing subpar, or TJ's absence, something seems to be missing this year -- or is it just the teams are now more aware of us, that we can't sneak up on them anymore?

edit: my bad, i meant jim todd  dang i couldn't edit the polls :\

We are missing Garbo (he did the little things, funny how we never think about that, Garbo did mostly everything).

We are so Missing TJ abilties to Create for us and Open up the floor for Bosh and Bargs which, when they get going the wings work.

We are also missing Bosh All Star Performance from last season, but I think that's because he's missing TJ.

Also Chris Ford???? Do you mean Jim Todd

Mo Pete, he was the underrated glue guy on and off the court for the team.

Also TJ, compare and contrast here. When TJ went down, what did everyone do? Sat back and prayed. At least when Bosh got into that tussle with Andrew Bogut, TJ went IGYB (I Got Your Back) with Bosh and joined in on the fun. I think TJ (and maybe Garbo) are the only ones with grapefruits on this team. Do I want a brawl or something? No, But do I want them to stick up for themselves when people run all over them? F*ck yea. This team needs to locate their Nuts ASAP and prove that they do have them.

The biggest difference between last season and this one is that we've played an absolutely brutal schedule thus far. One of the 2 toughest in the entire league.

Last season our schedule ranked 30th, the absolute easiest in the entire league. Are schedule gets onsiderably easier going forward which should produce better results.

Definitely TJ Ford, no one else on this team can create and carry us on their backs.

I think we are missing TJ and roster continuity. The roster continuity blame goes on the management. They should've kept Garbo's ass away from Spain so he could be playing right now, and they should've brought back MoPete. The Pistons have kept the same players for a long time with minor changes to their bench. With new players you gotta have them adjust to the team's playing style and it all depends on the player if he will adapt or not. Dixon and Graham aren't playing anymore and we won 47 games last year with these guys getting major minutes.

TJ being out obviously hurts but I think our record right now vs last year has more to do with the other teams in the league. The East got tougher and a guy like Lebron is another year older and he was already one of the best in the league. The Nets were really banged up last year and they're not any longer. Boston and Orlando obviously improved. Philly had a lot of issues to deal with last year when Iverson was being traded. They're past all that now and can catch a team off guard with their athleticism.

We have to realize that we had the most wins in the Atlantic last year for a number of reasons and not all of them had to do with us being a great team.

DAVE HOPLA!

Why do you think Caron Butler (a career 30 percent 3 pt shooter) is shooting over 40% this year? The answer is the same: Dave Hopla!

Yes, we missed garbo's 1 per game out-of-bounds play and travelling.

Sadly, that's all I can remember.
