bargnani in todays game

The raps have so much vested in bargnani, us having success in the future directly corelates with him becoming a star in this league.

so why the **** is he sitting the enitre fourth quarter (he barely played 2nd half period).

I know he wasn't shooting well but he was +9, played good man on man defense all game. It was obvious we were going to blow it when cleveland started hitting every three pointer in the fourth. yet we keep bargs on bench bring out delfino and kapono to finish out the game? both those guys played like ****!

Play bargnani! this is ridiculous! if there is one thing he has deomnstrated is that he is pretty clutch at the end of games, he proved that last year. this year all SMitch has done is kill this guys confidence

GRRRR! i am angry about todays loss! we **** blew it. **** stupid rautins blames it on smack talk "waking up" king james. what a moron! how about the fact we played like **** the whole fourth quarter (and the fact the cavs hit every 3 pointer they chucked in the fourth).

i say we stop focusing so much on trying to win every game (not working anyway) and focus on developing bargs into the player he needs to be! i have yet to see a game that he has cost us anyway. when we lose its not his fault. we need to let him grow! we arent winning championship this year! we arent even coming close until bargs is a mjor contributor (or is traded for one). right now he could even land us a major contributor! we are ruining his value!

Calm down.

Elliot Friedman mentioned he was ill before the game. He probably was fatigued by the fourth quarter.

His defence in the paint was respectable today but LeBron was abusing him inside, attacking him for And1's. It wouldn't have helped our interior defense.

Varjeo
Booby
Jones
Lebron
Brown

That was the lineup Cleveland had for the entire fourth. You tell me who Bargnani guards in that lineup.

bargz didnt see the floor cuz he couldn't rebound for **** and was getting ourrebounded and outhustled on both ends.. couple that with a poor shooting night, I just can't root for the guy to come back in the game..

Bargs is not a creator. He needs to be spoon fed his offence. I remember all these guys who thought they know basketball talking about how Bosh was second fiddle to Bargs. What a bunch of clowns. The bottom line is, Bargs will be a role player at his peak on a championship team. All these Dirk comparisons are garbage. Dirk creates for himself and doesn't have the mindset to drift to the 3 point line. He's also not allergic to boards. I'm not sure there was a star in today's NBA getting as many minutes as Bargs as a sophomore not averaging at least 15 ppg. The guy is a role player on a great team, get used to it. It's not hate, it's truth.

Varejao... he's not exactly the most offensive player....

i agree with the OP that bargs should have got some burn towards the end of the game. but then again, we don't exactly know the full story of his health.

I see Bargs as a Vlad Radmonoivc type. A very nice weapon off the bench. We used the #1 pick in the **** draft on that though :nonono:

These are the same ppl tha think Caldy > Fords. One is a distributor, while the other one is a pure creator.

In the NBA you need the innate ability to create from nothing in order to be a considered an elite player.

Yeah man, it's so disheartening. Just goes to show that you can never go wrong with the NCAA. Europe is still a huge gamble.

I was at the game today and Bargs was definitely sick. As soon as he sat down they handed him a box of kleenex and he was blowing his nose and coughing the whole time he was on the bench.

That was mentioned pre-game, but the haters don't care.

When Bargs scored 25 points, they hammered him because he was -15.

Today he was +9, but the haters are pointing to Bargs as the reason we lost.

Bargs wasnt the reason we lost either of the games.

The problem is that he's a "big man" who is strictly a jump shooter and is arguably the worst rebounding big man in NBA history. How the hell can you minimize this problem?? Seriously, he's that bad. I dont believe that he will ever be a good starter in the NBA and I havent seen anything over the past two years to change my opinion on that.

Does it matter whether he's +9 or not? LBJ is -1 but surely he had a subtle impact to the outcome of the game?

Did you know bustnani has gotten a total of 23 rebounds in his last 11 games? That's an average of 2.1 rebounds a game in 22 mins of play.
