The concern, in some quarters, is that the Raptors may not see T.J. Ford in uniform for another month (think post-all star) and I

It would result in disaster with two soft Euro PG's.

Sergio Rodriguez
For a guy that's making, what, less than 1 mil per year with that kind of potential and is only 21-22 years old, highly unlikely they trade him. Not to mention Portland's been having incredible success so there would be no point to make any changes on their side. They're basically set at the pg position (in terms of quality starting, backup and 3rd pg's). I don't see what we could offer to improve any of their positions except Calderon as their starting point

I expect Bryan will cut D-Mart and bring in a new point guard within 10 days.
Yep. DMart isn't even dressing anymore. His playing career is over and his coaching career is about to begin.

hope you're kidding...
I cringe when I see Juan getting in the game as a PG, he is almost as bad as Kmart.
We need a PG ASAP if TJ's return is in question or delayed any longer.

Sam.
He wants out of Clipperland, he's gutsy, fiery, and can make big shots down the stretch in a game. He's been a winner throughout his career, and his career is almost done... but he has just enough left in the tank to help us now.
And he's a good enough shooter that you could play him with one of our other PGs.
Damon would definitely work too.
Juan + Joey for Damon + filler?
Done.

As I've posted before, there's no chance of Damon returning to Toronto. The guy wants to:
1.) play for a contender
2.) get significant P/T.
Toronto cannot offer him his first option this year and once TJ is back, Mighty Mouse is a third string PG. I think our best case scenario is bringing someone in from the D-League.
