He's not even that good of an interior defender, he doesn't even play help defense. He just waits for the man to come to the rim, either block the shot or make a stupid foul trying to block the shot. I love Sammy for what he has done for the country the past summer, but honestly, the Raptors can do better.

Antonio Davis...
But I see what you're saying.
I agree with everyone. We obviously know the position that needs improving is still centre.

Above all else, Sixers would won't contracts that expire this season. And the Raps don't have much in that regard.
And for those that don't think he plays any defense? He's currently the anchor of the league's 10th best defense. And weakside/help defense is actually the best part of his game. It's his on the ball D where he sometimes gambles too much (somebody claimed the exact opposite). Either way, he's definitely improved defensively over his early years and our team would show a huge improvement with his shotblocking on the back line erasing all the mistakes.

Nurse is below average at best.
Masai is overrated.
I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.

A deal of Rasho and Dixon plus a first rounder works on the trade checker, then the Raps would have to play Bargs at SF.
you have to be kidding me, you'll get crucified by the sixers fans with this proposal

It's not that bad because Dally has a huge, long-term contract and isn't considered a guy that is exceeding that deal with his play/ability. Dixon expires giving them more cap room this summer (which they want). Rasho holds the fort and gives them cap space next summer and the 1st rounder adds another young body to the roster.
As a rebuilding team, it's probably pretty close to the type of deal they're looking for.

I fully agree,
Dalembert has a lot of years left on a contract that was signed prior to the Sixers getting themselves into a total rebuild mode.
As you have said, it gives the Sixers Dixon who is off the books at the end of the season, and they get a season and a half of Rasho while they seek a young player through the draft to play the five who comes off the books two years earlier then Dalembert would have as well as a first round pick.
I don't see the Sixers getting much more for Dalembert.
