OT: whining out of Detroit about manners? Priceless

Friday night, Rasheed launched two useless three pointers in the last minute of the game to taunt the Raptor fans. There were a lot of Detroit fans in the upper bowl, who paraded around singing "Detroit basketball" fan otherwise being obnoxious winners.

So what happens the next night?

Boston wins in Detroit, and well, see how the Pistons react to a little showboating.

Good for them... Someone needs to do that to Boston too, they trash talk and show off way too much during the game. I hope DAL, SA or PHO smashes them out west...

well Pistons fans (right up there with Philly Sports fans) have a bad reputation so it's no surprise. Most famous being the Artest brouhaha & J. O'Neal's Mortal Kombat knockout of some fatso.

I respect Detroit Pistons game since they execute 1/2 court offense/defense schemes so well and they play a great team concept. Maxiell is also a beast with a very promising future. The thing is Billups & Wallace have this air confidence about them that too often smells of arrogance. I wouldn't want the Raps or Nets facing them in the playoffs that's for sure.

Rasheed being the great interview he is recently responded to why the Pistons are such a great 3rd quarter team with (paraphrasing) the answer being the Pistons wanted to have a big enough lead in the 4th quarter to avoid any funny business from the Ref's which I found amusing because everytime I watch a Pistons game they more than any other team (Spurs maybe) whine & yell at the Ref's all game long about almost every call (mainly the starters, not the bench guys).

Boston seems like the only team in the NBA (other than Portland) that gives 100% every game. They treat every game like a playoff game, so it's natural that they'd celebrate them like playoff wins.

Sheed is the only Piston that's arrogant. Chauncey is a true professional. He just works hard. Sheed just makes comments.

That was the first thing I thought of when I read the word "brouhaha." Is it just me or is Don Taylor extremely annoying with all his babbling expressions? It's funny if you do it once in a while, but the guy does it for every game highlight, including his frequent use of "brouhaha."

It's not just you! That guy is the dumb puckhead of the westcoast!

They are arrogant, but so what? They deserve to be, and quite frankly i'd prefer someone on our team with that edge. Chauncy is a trash talking a-hole to play against, but he's also a gritty competitor. Who wouldn't want that?

What's wrong with those comments by Billups?

They WERE running around, hoping all over eachother popping their jerseys like it was game 7 of the finals.

In all honesty, Detroit has been there. They've been on pace to win 70 games. They've won a championship. THey've been in the conference finals for as long as anyone on that team has been there.

Boston was acting like a team that hasn't won anything, and in truth they haven't.

God damn it I hate Detroit fans. The Detroit fans on Realgm.com all seem like good guys, but jesus, whoever are the jackasses that show up en masse to Toronto are huge pricks.

They travel in big groups of like 20 guys or more, so they can run their mouths as much as they want to.

Those were (Please Use More Appropriate Word) detroit fans.

As for the actual players, what kind of showboating did they display other than sheed's useless 3 pointers?

True, but what has Detroit's nonchalant, cool and uncaring attitude got them the last few years? Beaten short of the Finals, even with all those wins.

I agree that Boston hasn't won anything, but isn't caring more a GOOD thing?
