Won't happen in any of our lifetimes, not unless the rules change drastically and there's another way to score four points on one play or even a five point play.
I think there's more of a chance of a player scoring 100 points again than a team scoring 200+ in a game.

When do they next play on the road against the Knicks? If it's this season, I'm counting on an ugly mob to carry away most of New York's roster, leaving an exhausted Eddy Curry and a dozing Jerome James to complete the second half alone.

I can't believe you think this will happen.

It's never going to happen. Phoenix will just let their scrubs finish the entire 4th quarter if that ever happens.
Unless both teams are WAYYY up there together.. but still..

When they play Golden State in triple overtime...Maybe 200 is pushing it, but 175-185 is manageable..
Speaking of changing the rules, I think they should make shots beyond halfcourt 4 points.. it would help a lot in late game situations, and I think you would see a lot more players attempting and making them.. Sheed for sure... They should reward players who get it in from that far out..

In order to score that many points, their FG average would have to be in the 90% range...Bargani has a better chance of winning the rebounding title than that happening...

200 is pretty much impossible, it would take like 4 OTs and an opponent like GS. I would say 170 is more realistic.

How about 150?

The first half is the most ridiculous first half I've seen in a long time. I couldn't stop laughing, because they didn't miss ....... yet, they "only" got what they did. Didn't break 100, and that's one of the hottest teams I've ever seen.
As for 150, they'll need an OT or 2 against Golden State for that.

There was that game last year, where it went to triple O.T. last year (or maybe it was only double O.T.) in any case, I think it went to 156, I don't think they'd be able to score 200 even if it went for another 2 quarters just because the guys were so tired.
